🚨⚾THE RACE IS ON! ⚾🚨
The Thin Gold Line Foundation is proud to announce the
inaugural Race to the Ballpark Challenge!
We're challenging 9-1-1 centers to come together, have some fun, and raise funds in support of the emergency dispatchers and call takers who answer the call every day.
From the day your team registers through August 26, 2026, your center will compete against other communications centers to climb the leaderboard and earn the title of Race to the Ballpark Champion!
🏆 The centers raising the highest verified fundraising total will win:
⚾ Four tickets to the Detroit Tigers game 🐯
🗓️ September 11, 2026
🏟️ Comerica Park – Detroit, Michigan
🥇 Bragging rights as our inaugural Champion
To keep things fair, centers will also be recognized by division:
🔸Small Center Champion (1-15 personnel)
🔶Medium Center Champion (16-40 personnel)
✴️Large Center Champion (41+ personnel)
Plus special recognition including:
🤩Grand Slam Award (highest per-employee fundraising average)
🥳 Most Creative Fundraiser
🫨Fastest Start Award
🤪 And more!
📈 Weekly leaderboard updates will be posted right here on Facebook so everyone can follow the race and cheer on their teams.
